DStv slashes HD decoder cost by 22 per cent

Pay TV firm DStv has announced a 22 per cent price reduction of its High Definition (HD) decoder.
The offering to new customers will also come with one month free subscription with every purchase and activation of a decoder.
A fully kitted DStv HD decoder will now retail at Sh5, 000, down from Sh6,400. This includes a Zappa HD decoder box, cabling, satellite dish and installation fee.
The price reduction will allow new customers to enjoy content available on any of the four DStv packages - Access, Compact, Compact Plus, Family or Premium.
