Acorn enters into joint venture with Helios

Acorn Group and Helios Investment Partners (acting on behalf of funds it advises) have announced that they have agreed to enter into a joint venture to form a development platform focused initially on Kenya, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Acorn, a property developer based in Nairobi, has since establishment in 2001, completed over 40 projects, with a combined asset value greater than $550 million. 

Edward Kirathe, CEO, Acorn said: "In Helios, we have found a partner with a shared ethos and commitment to the region. We look forward to leveraging Helios' local and international relationships and expertise to further strengthen our platform."
