Tech firm to award competition winners

Asus, consumer notebook and tablet brand says it will award winners of the first All Africa Girls science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) competition hosted by the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE).
The competition featured a team of 35 all-female finalists drawn from the 15 African countries where FAWE has presence.
Kenya was one of the countries that participated in the event fielding six participants all from Meru County. ASUS indicated it will award the 1st prize winner a transformer Book T100 laptop and 2nd prize winner a Fonepad 7 tablet.
