Centum Investment Company has reported a 22 per cent growth in profit after tax for the year ended March 31, 2014 to record an impressive Sh3 billion, a sh500 million increase from Sh2.5 billion reported in a similar period last year.
The company further registered a Sh6.8 billion growth in net worth, representing a net asset value growth of 42 per cent to Sh2.9 billion as at March 31 2014.
The company stated that the growth in earnings was as a result of a five-year strategy period which begun in 2009 and has just been closed.
According to Centum’s Managing Director James Mworia, the company has aggressively moved up the check list of its five-year strategic plan and the earnings report was a reflection of this effort.
