Embakasi East MP has declared that he is the only suitable candidate that can unseat President William Ruto in the 2027 General Election.

However, Babu has said he is still consulting with his grassroot support that will inform him whether or not to go for the Country’s top job.

“Actually, as we speak, I will wait for the decision of the people. So, as of now, I am spoiled for choice. As I always say, leaders are chosen by God. And as at now, we over qualify to be the president of the Republic of Kenya. It is only because we know we can beat Ruto squarely. Squarely by a day before elections” Babu Owino said.

He spoke during a mentorship session at the NPN Legacy church in Nairobi, where he further encouraged the young generation to participate in the 2027 election not only by voting but also by seeking elective posts.

“I want to encourage this generation, the Gen Zs, the millennials to participate in the forthcoming elections in 2027. Because they are the majority. That means that they can produce a president among themselves. They can produce any governor. So do not just participate by voting, but also participate by going for these elective seats,” Babu said.

Babu further called on the mentorship of the young generation noting that the generation has been clouded by hopelessness due to the political climate in the country.

“As a leader, leadership is about others. A leader, as the Bible describes a leader, is a servant. For you to lead, you must first agree to serve. He who must be the greatest among you must be the least among you. You must agree to serve you. So leadership is about others. As we give hope, we also work to transform lives,” Babu said.

He was flanked by the NPN head pastor Raffian Samuel, Jubilee Party Youth representative Advice Mundalo among others.

Pastor Samuel said the aim is truly to inspire a generation because the way the nation is and the way things are, we have a generation that has become really hopeless.

And so it's to speak hope and also just tell those people that are at the bottom that it is possible for your life to rise and for your life to be able to change.
