Ex-Juventus boss opens up about reports he’s the first-choice to replace Ole Gunnar should he be sacked

Massimiliano Allegri has refused to be drawn on rumours linking him with Manchester United, but has joked that he is learning English.
Speculation that the former Juventus boss is set to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford has been ramping up in recent days, with Italian publication Tuttosport even suggesting that he is keen to take over imminently.
They add that Allegri - who won the Serie A title in each of his five seasons in charge of Juve before leaving this summer - would want to bring two of his Turin signings with him to the Red Devils in the form of the Croatian forward Mario Mandzukic and the former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
Solskjaer is under mounting pressure at United following a poor start to the Premier League season.
The club currently sit 12th in the table, 15 points behind leaders Liverpool who come to Old Trafford to face their rivals on Sunday.

Allegri has been in Warsaw this week at the Alliance of European Football Coaches Association Symposium, where Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy asked him about the United links, via the ="https://metro.co.uk/2019/10/16/massimiliano-allegri-responds-reports-set-become-manchester-united-manager-10932348/">Metro< .
The 52-year-old simply laughed at the suggestion that he could replace Solskjaer imminently, reportedly saying: "I speak English too poorly for now, but I am learning."
Mandzukic has repeatedly been linked with United, and is seen as a more likely arrival that his former Juve boss.
However former United midfielder Paul Ince has questioned that move.
"I don't think Mandzukic is the answer," Ince told Mirror Football.
"I feel that you never get your best players in January, clubs don't sell their best players in January, so whoever Manchester United are going to get is going to be a stop-gap.
"If they're looking to go down the young route then the should be looking at young strikers, not Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] or Mandzukic."
