Real Madrid chiefs will hold face-to-face talks with Chelsea supremo Marina Granovskaia where they’ll aim to finally conclude their £100million swoop for Eden Hazard.

A deal for Hazard to complete his dream move to Spain is yet to be agreed.

Sportsmail understands Real have already made up to three informal offers during lengthy negotiations. The La Liga giants hope face-to-face discussions will prove decisive.

Real had hoped to unveil Hazard on Monday, but those plans look likely to be shelved unless there’s an unexpected breakthrough in the next 24 hours.

Real could still clinch the transfer before Belgium’s clash against Scotland on June 11, but Hazard will not be officially unveiled until after the game.

Elsewhere, Zinedine Zidane is set to prioritise a move for Paul Pogba this summer and place a deal for Christian Eriksen on the back-burner.

Real Madrid are desperate to bolster their midfield ranks in a huge summer overhaul following a disappointing campaign.

According to Marca, Zidane is ‘leaning towards Pogba’ and will do all he can to land the Manchester United star before turning his attention to Eriksen.

Zidane wants the French international to operate alongside Casemiro in a two-man midfield behind his side’s new look attack.

It was claimed recently that the 26-year-old midfielder is ready to force a move to the Spanish capital after three years at Old Trafford.

However, Real are struggling to finance the £160m transfer fee.
