Sofapaka have unveiled Melis Medo as their new coach.

The former Nakumatt head coach takes over on a two-year deal.

He will work alongside John Barasa who has now been relegated to the position of assistant coach after leading the team to fifth place last season.

Speaking during his unveiling yesterday, Medo challenged Sofapaka players to give their best.

“I want players who can endure the rigours of 120 minutes on the pitch rather than the regular 90 minutes. All I want is maximum concentration from each one of you and the rest shall fall in place,” he said.

The coach further pointed out that dedication and discipline will be key in helping the team succeed.
