Inter-counties: Uasin Gishu win volleyball titles

Uasin Gishu County retained men's  and women's volleyball tittles in the Inter-County games at St Marys Mosocho, Kisii. In men’s category, the Uasin Gishu thrashed Nakuru 3-0 (25-19, 25-15 and 25-13) to be crowned the 2018 champions.

Uasin Gishu coach, Dickosn Meger, said it was relieve to them after fighting hard in the quarters and semi-finals.  “We have a young team that has lifespan of many years to come.

 My wish is that we get three or more young players to beef up” In the semi-finals, they had beaten the senate team 3-0. [Eric Abuga]
