Daley Blind has revealed he learned a lot from Jose Mourinho in the two seasons he played under the Manchester United boss.
The Dutch defender and midfielder joined the Red Devils in 2014 when he was signed by countryman Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho's arrival saw his game time at United significantly dwindle, and he featured just 17 times last season.
Last month Blind departed the club for Ajax, ending his four-season spell at United. But despite Mourinho sanctioning his sale, Blind insists he had a good relationship with the Portuguese.
"I almost played 150 matches and won four trophies," Blind told reporters in the Netherlands.

"I had a very beautiful time [at United] and had many nice moments there.
"I am very grateful to the fans. I worked very nicely with Mourinho."
Expanding on his relationship with Mourinho further, Blind added: "I learned a lot from him.
"He is a winner and he can project that very well on a group."
Blind has made five appearances for Ajax since returning to the club he left four years ago.
