The Premier League awards for the month of March are out with Burnley’s Sean Dyche grabbing the Premier League manager of the month.
Dyche led his side to three consecutive wins against Everton, West Ham and West Brom to take nine points from nine.
Dyche beats top managers in Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho and Claude Puel to become the first Burnley boss to win the award.
After the award he was quoted by The Telegraph saying, "It’s a sign of the players, the staff as well, the players want to go out there and perform.
“And I think it’s more pleasing in a sense that, no so much my first period at Burnley, in my first half season, but after that, we were very strong in the Championship.

“So you might have a strong chance of getting a manager of the month during those periods.
“But in the Premier League, it’s very difficult to win that, so fantastic, on behalf of my staff and the players.
“It takes the group to perform in that manner, and I think the three away games, I'm aware one of them wasn't included, that is a big, big thing in the Premier League, for any club, certainly clubs like ourselves, to win three games away on the trot.
“It’s been a really strong month, with some very good performances. We deserved all three victories in March."
Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy’s excellent volley in Leicester’s 4-1 win over West Brom has won the Carling Premier League Goal of the Month for March.
Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has been named Premier League Player of the Month. This is his third time winning the award and his second in a row.
Salah is the leading top scorer with 29 Premier League goals so far this season with only six games to go.
