English Premier League leaders Manchester City are lining up against Liverpool as the champions-elect aim at overturning 3-0 aggregate at the Uefa Champions League at Etihad tonight.
Thrashed, shocked and humiliated but not out. Such is the succinct description of the fate that has befallen the Citizens.
After having staged a terrific performance in the English Premier League football, which has left them 3 points shy of lifting the crown; Pep Guardiola believes that his side has the capability to pull a shocker against the Reds.
Speaking to the press before the match, Guardiola said that his team has been tremendous in terms of performance only to be judged by the results.
“I know we are judged on results, but on the performances my team is extraordinary. It is not comparable for many others, it's top,” he said as revealed by AFP.

Jurgen Klopp on the other side has maintained that he has no intention to let his feet off the gas adding that they need just to get better.
With the Reds having been weaker at the back, winter acquisition Virgil Van Dijk has been the pillar that has injected the much needed steel in the defence. City will move with speed to destabilize the Reds defence and possibly get the quicker goals. But on the other hand, the league leaders have conceded six goals in the past two games and there are higher chances they will concede again in this match.
