Manchester United and Arsenal look set to miss out on Real Madrid midfielder Isco after reports from The Sun indicates that the star is open to leave Santiago Bernabéu at the end of the season.

Isco signed a new contract with the Los Blancos last year September which keeps him at Madrid until 2022 but playing time could be the reason he wants a move away.

Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be interested in signing the Isco but he is eyeing for a move to their rival Manchester City.

The 25-year-old has started 25 games in all competition this season and Madrid board are reported to be looking for new attacking midfielders after a poor La Liga campaign.

A source claims that Isco wants to join a Premier League club which have a big chance of winning the Champions League. The Spaniard also wants to play under Pep Guardiola.

The source also claims that Manchester City have been after Isco in the past but he has always turned them down at the last step.

‘The club have been after Isco for a while but he has always turned down moves at the final hurdle,’ a source at City told The Sun.

‘He wants to play under Pep by all accounts.

‘Everyone knows Real want to add new attacking talent and he could be one that goes.’
