Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial both missed France training on Tuesday.

The duo linked up with the rest of the squad on Monday and while Martial sat out, Pogba took part in the session.

It is suggested the injuries are not serious with Martial arriving at the French camp with a niggle.

Pogba has had a frustrating time at Old Trafford, struggling for form and fitness.

He missed a handful of matches recently due to a gash on his leg and didn't start last week's Champions League defeat to Sevilla.

The midfielder was also an unused substitute in the FA Cup win over Brighton.

He had hoped to use the international break as an opportunity to get back to form, with France facing Colombia and Russia.

Meanwhile, boss Didier Deschamps has admitted Pogba "can't be happy" at his situation.

“I don't know why that is," added Deschamps. "As to why or how things came to this, there may be many reasons.

"I am sure it is a situation he won't be enjoying.

"I have a great deal of talks with players at our training camps, to gauge their feelings. It's not just Paul."
