Just one week on from sealing his move to Manchester United and Alexis Sanchez has already found a new house.

The Chilean had been staying at the Lowry Hotel - where Jose Mourinho's permanent residence is currently set up - but has now found a place he can call home.

Sanchez moved to the Red Devils from Arsenal last week in a transfer that saw Henrikh Mkhitarayan head in the opposite direction.

The 29-year-old then made his debut for the club in United's 4-0 FA Cup win over Yeovil on Friday - and was subsequently named man of the match.

Sanchez has now put the cherry on top of what has been a very sweet seven days for the forward by buying a luxury £2million house.

As well as the usual amenities, the mansion boasts five double bedrooms, a cinema room, sun terrace, piano room with bar and a detached three car garage with a gym above.

The lavish property is also located 1.1 miles from Manchester Airport and 2.1 miles from Martinscroft station.

Sanchez will get another chance to wear his new number seven jersey when United take on Spurs at Wembley on Wednesday.

Alexis Sanchez moved from Arsenal to Manchester United to complete a deal that has dragged for more than a month since the winter transfer window was opened. The Chilean won two FA cup trophies with Arsene Wenger side.
