Sidelined Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has made a decision on his career to return to the pitch in the colours of his country Ivory Coast, saying that he has ‘unfinished business’ international games.

According to the media reports from the British media, Manchester Evening News, Yaya has made this drastic decision after hanging his boots on the international games in September 2016.

Yaya’s agent Dmintry Seluk revealed his client’s plans even as he lamented Toure’s role which has been restricted as a fringe squad player.

“Yaya Toure has decided to return to Ivory Coast national team. He wants to win another trophy with the Elephants of Ivory Coast”. Said Seluk.

Toure joined Manchester City from Barcelona after winning various trophies. He then proceeded to win two English Premier League titles with Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Mancini.

However, when Manchester City hired Pep Guardiola from Bayern Munich, the Ivorian has been a long term bench warmer.

Guardiola prefers to deploy Fernandinho or Delp alongside David Silva in the middle of the park
