With only three days to the whistle that will mark the start of CECAFA Senior Challenge on December 3, Harambee Stars have been once again stung by an injury set back following the withdrawal of midfielder Kenneth Muguna.

The Gor Mahia midfielder has been ruled out with an injury whose details are yet to be communicated. Muguna has withdrawn days to the kick of the tourney, where Stars will face Rwanda in their opening tie.

Thika United’s Said Tsuma has been called up to fill up the void left by the 21 year old. Despite Thika United losing the relegation battle in the ended Sportpesa Premier League, Tsuma played a key role their campaign.

Muguna becomes the second player after Harun Shakava to be ruled out of the CECAFA tourney due to injury. Paul Put is on the business of sharpening his squad as he seeks to re-inspire the national team and to lift the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
