Zone B side Vihiga Queens maintained their winning ways at the start of the Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League second leg.

Queens whitewashed newbies Bulemia 6-0 at Butula Polytechnic Grounds on Saturday evening. Mercy Anyango scored four goals, with Everlyne Omuronji and Robai Kebedi scoring one each for the maximum points.

Queens coach Alex Alumira said it was a perfect start and prayed for an improved performance.

"This is a good start for us and we are looking forward to more wins in the second leg. We can't afford to slip at this point because we are chasing our first title this year. We have a great squad that will make sure we win the national title by the end of the season," he said.

Oserian Ladies rallied to draw 2-2 against newcomers Palos Women at Moi Stadium, Kisumu. This is the second time this season that Oserian have dropped points but remain unbeaten in the zone.
