Manchester United target Alvaro Morata has told Real Madrid he wants to leave the Champions League winners, ="http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-united-fear-real-madrid-10594732" target="_blank">reports David Anderson<.

But Real look set to demand over £60million for the Spain striker, who wants more first-team action, because of the Reds’ refusal to sell them keeper David De Gea.

United are attempting to land Morata - who is Jose Mourinho’s top striking target - from Real and do not want to pay more £60million for the Spain hitman.

However they are concerned Real could demand in excess of this amount in retaliation for them ruling out a move for David De Gea.
