Retired kenyan football veteran, Joe Kadenge is in a stable condition after fainting while watching the National Super League (NSL) match between Wazito FC and Zoo Kericho at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo Grounds on Wednesday.

He was rushed to Nairobi Metropolitan Hospital by an ambulance for further observation after receiving first aid treatment at the venue.

The legend is also known to have been suffering from diabetes and fighting occasional high blood pressure in the recent past.

Recently, Kadenge also underwent an eye surgery and was said to be recovering well.

Well-wishers including Kipchoge Keino contributed towards the success of his operation.
