Kurt Zouma is hopeful his knee injury will not rule him out for the rest of the season and Euro 2016.

The Chelsea defender fell badly during the second half against Manchester United and needed to be stretchered off the Stamford Bridge pitch.

The France star, who was on crutches after the game, will undergo tests today to discover whether he has suffered ligament damage in his right knee.

Zouma told L'Equipe: “It is better. We will see, I heard something but I feel better. Tomorrow (Monday), I will undergo tests and we will know more.”

Zouma has started 21 out of Chelsea's 25 Premier League games this season and is competing to be in France's squad for their home European Championship this summer.
