Arsenal will not win the league unless they spend big this summer, according to former Gunner Lee Dixon.
Arsene Wenger’s side haven’t won the Premier League since 2003/04 and fell short again this season, finishing 12 points adrift of Chelsea.
And Dixon, who picked up four league medals during his time at Arsenal, insisted there are a number of issues in the squad that need addressing.
“I think there's a couple of positions they still need to strengthen,” Dixon told MirrorSport. “I don't think you win the league with [Olivier] Giroud as your main striker on his own. He needs help.”
"I'm a big fan of his but he needs another signing alongside him. [Danny] Welbeck is a good player but they need a bit of help in that position."
