Robin van Persie will opt to remain at Manchester United this summer despite strong interest from Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants are willing to offer Van Persie a £220,000-a-week three-year deal to move to Istanbul, according to The Sun.

But Dutchman Van Persie has decided he fancies another season at Old Trafford because he reckons the Red Devils are capable of reclaiming the Premier League title under Louis van Gaal.

Van Persie moved to Old Trafford from rivals Arsenal in 2012 and was the key man as United secured a 20th top flight title in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season in charge of the club.
