Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to be given a treble fitness boost.

Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta have returned to training and are close to rejoining the Gunners' first team.

England midfielder Wilshere, 23, has been out for four months following an ankle operation but could now be back in the squad to face Liverpool on Saturday week.

Captain Arteta is also on the comeback trail after a calf problem that has keot him on the sidelines since November and French right-back Debuchy is back in full training following January's discolated shoulder.

England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also hoping to be fit for the Liverpool game following a hamstring injury.
