Recipe: How to bake Chocolate Fondant

4 servings | Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 6-12 minutes

3 eggs

3 tbs cornflour

3 tbs fat-free fromage frais

3 tbs virtually fat-free quark (a dairy product like

sour cream)

3 tsp sugar-free, reduced-fat cocoa powder

1½ tbs liquid Hermesetas

1 tsp baking powder

Directions

Using an electric whisk, combine all the ­ingredients and pour the mixture into a small microwavable dish. Cover with either a lid or some clingfilm.

Microwave on maximum power for six ­minutes. Alternatively, bake uncovered in a preheated conventional oven at 180C/350F/Gas 4 for 10-12 minutes.

When the fondant is cooked, remove the dish from the oven and place it on a sheet of kitchen paper to rest for a few minutes.
