Gor Mahia's coach Bobby Williamson comes to Jerim's rescue

GOR MAHIA'S GOALKEEPER JERIM ONYANGO

Gor Mahia's coach Bobby Williamson has defended goalkeeper Jerim Onyango who came under heavy criticism after the team drew 2-2 against AFC Leopards in Sunday's derby at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Onyango appeared to have gifted Martin Imbalambala the second goal when he misjudged his steps from the line and Leopards' captain banged home the equaliser in the 82nd minute.
Until that time, Gor Mahia had looked set to cruise to a famous win over their arch-rivals. Speaking after the match Williamson said: "There is no doubt that he made a mistake and it cost us. However, he should not be wholly blamed for that goal. He has done very well for us in the past and we cannot look at one performance to judge him."
