RALLY: Mayes and co-driver Zwager receive sponsorship

62ND SAFARI RALLY COUNTDOWN Rally driver Raji Bharij and his navigator Geoff Mayes.

Motorsport enthusiasts Geoff Mayes and his co-driver Suzanne Zwager received sponsorship ahead of the 2017 Kenya Rally Raid Championships opening race this weekend in Naivasha.

 The sponsorship from Kingsway Tyres and BF Goodrich KO2 Tyres will also see the two benefit during selected Kenya National Rally Championship series this year.

But the new sponsorship doesn’t affect Mayes’s V8 Landrover, dubbed “the Flying Elephant” and will still receive support from the Silverspread Meru Rally Team.

The two are also supported by Purdy Arms of Nairobi and De Ruiters of Naivasha. “I am excited about this season. Support from Kingsway Tyres and BF Goodrich is incredible,” said Mayes.
