Self-care is taking actions that lend to your overall well-being. This means caring for your mind, body and spirit.

Self-care may seem indulgent and time-consuming but it is an essential part of maintaining proper physical, mental and emotional balance. Without self-care, you may be able to go through the motions of daily living and even appear to be successful doing so but it will manifest sooner or later.

Self-care doesn’t have to be hours of meditation or time spent at a retreat. Self-care looks different for everyone and with our busy lives, including a few minutes every day may be all we can spare.
