Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have donated more than Sh14 million (£100,000) to a charity close to their hearts.
The royal couple decided to match contributions from their fans, known as the Sussex Squad, towards the Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED).
Harry and Meghan, who donated Sh14 million, said there was 'no better way to celebrate what really matters' and thanked their supporters for helping the cause.
The Duke and Duchess's loyal followers originally started the fundraising effort to coincide with Meghan's birthday in August.
However, campaigners then decided to extend the drive up until Prince Harry's birthday today.
They initially rallied fans to contribute under the hashtag #InspiredByMeghan, before switching to #InspiredByHarry after Meghan's birthday.
In total the campaign has raised Sh28.4 million (£202,145) - enough to teach 113 young African women technical and vocational skills for a year.
In a message accompanying their donation, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: "No better way to celebrate what really matters. Thank you to everyone who donated, Harry and Meghan."
CAMFED tweeted: "Just in, a message from The Duke & Duchess of Sussex, who are matching your INSPIRING actions by making a Sh14 million gift to CAMFED: ‘No better way to celebrate what really matters. Thank you to everyone who donated, Harry and Meghan’ #TogetherWeCan!"
The co-founder of the #InspiredByMeghan campaign has been linked to a Twitter account which hurled vile abuse at other royals.
