I am a bubbling person; the energy I get is the energy I give. I am a mother to one boy. I am a passionate actor and writer. I am from Nyeri and I was raised in Thika, where I currently reside.

How did you know that you are destined for acting?

I loved acting since my childhood. At age seven, I was already taking part in church drama. My enthusiasm for acting was so strong that after I left high school, I immediately joined groups for set book stage performances. We would visit schools or theatre halls to stage performances.

In 2018. I was fed up with the 8 to 5 jobs and opted to go into acting. I was working at Equity Bank and various Saccos between the years 2015-2017. However, I quit because I felt I was stagnating, there was little growth both financially and career-wise.

I am very happy I left employment because I was now pursuing my dream and also, spending more time with my son.

What has made you to succeed so far in this acting industry?

The industry needs patience and hard work. Growing your talent as an actress takes time and also, building a good portfolio. One has to be resilient and patient.

Let me also say that God has been on my side. He has been faithful to me and my son.

Did your family support your career?

Yes, they supported me 100 per cent. My mother always wanted to see me on TV although as a broadcaster. My son and my brother are my biggest fans.

What greatest challenge do you face in this industry?

Staying consistent and relevant. Sometimes, as an upcoming actress, you lose hope but you must be consistent and persistent till you build your brand.

Are you taken already?

No, I am not yet married. And they say you are single until you are married but there is a prospect somewhere.

What would you consider in a marriage partner?

In marriage, love is important, very important but it's not enough. We don't marry love or money we marry people so I believe in finding someone who will hold you down through thick and thin.

Have you had any compromising roles in your career?

Well not really. I have not had many compromising roles. But my take is for one to remain professional.

What else are you doing other than acting?

Online is my safe haven. I sell shoes and bags online and write articles and blogs. Currently, I am doing my business on Instagram and online malls, specifically Jumia.

You dropped out of campus, tell us more.

I was pursuing Broadcast Journalism but dropped out because I got a baby. I will definitely go back to class soon.

What don't people know about you?

I love staying alone. I value my "me" time.

Your parting shot?

Don't let fear prevent you from starting the wonderful life ahead.
