Bayern ready to rival Manchester City for their top target

Bayern Munich have emerged as a rival for Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne.

City have made the Belgian playmaker their number one priority this summer and are prepared to offer Wolfsburg some £50million to get their man.

But the Sunday Times report that German champs Bayern are keeping abreast of De Bruyne’s situation and are now ready to jump in and snatch him from under City’s noses.

Bayern are notoriously adept at poaching the best of Bundesliga talent. City may have to move quickly to get a deal done before Bayern scupper it.
