Moi University is a very big university and the name Moi alone is meant to make it even more respectable but this name is just for publicity since our fellow comrades are having their lectures in hostels.

"Ukweli Isemwe" There is a new school of Agriculture that has been introduced and instead of the classes taking place in lecture halls like all the others, the Agriculture students are having their classes in a hostel or would I say a house.

What was once a lecturer’s house was changed into a hostel known as D Houses and now by God knows what, it has undergone another transformation and has become a school.

The thing is, Moi Management Committee with their "great minds" decided to change a hostel into a school yet many second years are still suffering due to lack of accommodation and some are forced to pirate for the whole semester yet they paid for accommodation.

Others are waiting for rental houses to be through with construction so that they can get an accommodation since all the rental houses that were available are full. So my question is, where does the money we pay for development go to?

How do they expect us to trust that though the classes are taking place in a poor learning environment they are as serious as the ones taking place in lecture halls surrounded by classes and not towels and hanging lines?

Where mare we headed to as a campus because with how things are going there is no difference between Moi as a campus and Shimo la Tewa College which is built on top of a bar.

Provide for the Agriculture students good learning facilities and that includes a good learning environment and stop embarrassing us by changing a house with a bath tub into a school.
