Traditionally, kikoi was associated with male attire at the hot and humid coast. But today women wear it as well.
Kikoi can be tailored into dresses, skirts, shirts, shorts and gowns for casual and formal wear. It can also be worn in several ways such as sarong, shawl or turban. This wonder fabric has multipurpose use. A kikoi can serve as a beach towel, curtain, wall hanging, decorative furniture throw or tablecloth.
