Police have found a car belonging to Kenya National Commission on Human Rights Vice-Chairman Hassan Omar.
The car had been stolen from his driver at the weekend.
The Civic Honda car was found intact at Kawangware in Nairobi, a few kilometres from where it had been stolen.
Mr Omar said: "It is surprising the gunmen did not steal anything from the vehicle. I am waiting for normal procedure before picking it up."
The car was robbed from Omar’s driver on Friday night in an incident that has left many of his colleagues disturbed.
The driver had just dropped Omar at his home in Kilimani and drove towards Naivasha road in Riruta where the carjacking happened.
