I'm pretty sure we all know how to fry sausages since it's one of the most convenient meals ever. Sausages, whether fresh, cooked or cured, remain a staple diet around the world.

Some people like it deep fried, others like it shallow fried and others actually enjoy it better baked. Today, let's cook the sausages in a different yet simple way. We will pan fry the sausages until brown, slice them then toss them in some tasty flavours and serve them in a long bun.

What you’ll need:

13 sausages

1/2 cup oil

1 onion sliced

1 tomato sliced

1 green pepper sliced

1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste

1 lime juice

70g tomato paste

100g tomato ketchup

Salt to taste

8 hot dog buns

What to do:

In a pan, add some oil and shallow fry the sausages, turning them often until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove them from the heat and let cool. Once cool, slice them into small pieces.

In a hot nonstick pan, add in 1 tablespoon oil, add the garlic ginger paste, onions and green pepper fry until soft. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt to taste and ketchup.

Cook until combined then add in sausage pieces and finish off with some lime juice. Cook until sauce coats the sausages then serve in a hot dog bun with some mayonnaise on the side.
