Team Wanjiku will embrace the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga as they strive to empower the common man.
A section of leaders in the ‘wanjiku” caucus revealed this during their visit in Meru County on Friday.
The leaders spoke at Muujwa Catholic Church in Imenti Central during the burial of Dr Morris Rukunga, uncle to Nairobi governor Mike Sonko.
Among leaders who accompanied the city governor were MP Moses Kirima (Imenti Central), Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip, EALA MP Simon Mbugua and MCAs.
They faulted leaders focused on 2022 politics, and opposing the handshake.
