Is Bungoma County government aware of the moral decadence happening at the town’s bus station?
Reports reaching The Grapevine indicate that petty drug peddlers are using makeshift kiosks at the stage to hawk hard drugs to teenagers in the area. The drugs are sold under the guise of kuber or mirra. At night, the area is also used as operation grounds for prostitutes despite being a public space.
The kiosks are also reportedly being used to sell pornographic materials to school going children.
Locals are now demanding for action to flush out the bad elements promoting the illegal trades in the area.
