Fernando Torres watched Atletico Madrid beat Valencia from the stands as he continues recover from the horror head clash which left him hospitalised.
The striker collided with Deportivo substitute Alex Bergantinos in the closing stages of Atleti's 1-1 draw with their La Liga rivals on Thursday evening.
He was unconscious on the pitch and rushed to hospital but was released the following morning and was all smiles as his teammates registered a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon.
The Atletico fans also showed their support for Torres, whose future is uncertain.
They chanted his name in the ninth minute of the match and unfurled a banner which read: "The Calderon wants you - Fuerza Torres!"

According to the Mirror, upon leaving hospital, Torres has thanked everybody for their support and confirmed he intends to return to training soon. "Thank you all for worrying about me and for your messages of support. It’s just been a scare. I hope to come back very soon," Torres said.
A double from Antoine Griezmann and a Kevin Gameiro strike against Valencia lifted Atletico to fourth in La Liga, a point clear of fifth-placed Real Sociedad in the race for the Champions League spots.
