Nyandarua West, Central: A middle aged man was lynched by irate members of the public at Gichaka village in Nyandarua West Sub County after he allegedly stabled his wife several times following a domestic quarrel.
Francis Mururi is said to have attacked his wife Sarah Wangari at the weekend after they picked a quarrel and it was when the deceased produced a knife and stabbed her.
She raised an alarm at that attracted members of the public who rescued her and rushed her to Nyahururu district hospitals where she is recuperating.
She sustained serious arm and thigh injuries and she has been reported to be in stable condition.

According to Peter Kariuki, his daughter has on several occasions been engaged in family woes that has at times interventions from other relatives.
Kariuki noted that the family was set to prepare for their elder son’s rite of passage last Saturday and arrangements were done before the bizarre incidents occurred.
Nyandarua OCDP Benjamin Onsongo said police were immediately called but on their arrival, they found the deceased lying in a pool of blood as a result of the thorough beating from the mob.
The rescued and rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
His body was moved to Nyahururu district mortuary while his wife is nursing wounds at the same hospital.
He said investigations have been launched into the matter.
