Evidently hailed as the most prosperous King, David sure left an amicable example for Christians the world over to emulate. Impressively, a local group from Rongai was inspired to name their music group Camp David in the hope that they would make music that would conquer the world.
A gospel group with 3 energetic men, Felix Otieno, Titus Kelly, Paul Louis, Camp David’s mission is grounded upon the book of Matthew 28:19 which states “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.
In the quest to convert and make disciples, they have released hits such as Funga Zip, I surrender, Kawaambie, Nishuike and their recent hit Akuzidishie. Impressively, the Camp was nominated for the Groove New Group of the Year Award 2015 and with the guidance of their manager Dedan Chege hope to scoop nominations and awards in future gospel awards.
