African leaders today warned that the continent was veering off the track in pursuit of its development goals in the second decade of the millenium. The leaders who were speaking during the second Africa leadership, governance and management convention in Mombasa, say bad governance, corruption and conflict are some of the issues undermining development in africa. They urged public and private sector cooperation to achieve agreed growth benchmarks. Our reporter Shem Oluchiri is in Mombasa and brings us the following report.
