Nominated Member of Parliament Mohammed Affey is now threatening either legal action or a petition to the president against the independent electoral boundaries commission bill over a controversy on the creation of 80 new constituencies. This follows parliament’s adoption of the list of new constituencies as proposed by the Ligale commission as primary reference material to guide the yet to be established electoral body in executing its boundaries review mandate.
