There is heavy traffic snarl up on Thika Road, on both sides of the road, between Githurai and Kasarani
Residents of Githurai area barricaded the road in protest over reports that a 14-seater matatu plunged into a dam nearby resulting in fatalities. They complained that there had been no action from emergency services or law enforcement to save the passengers or to retrieve the bodies.
