A man has denied injuring a barmaid for allegedly teasing him as a ‘four-minute man.’
Nahashon Omari, it is alleged, assaulted Veronica Nyamia on November 11 at a lodging along Mombasa Road.
The court heard that on the fateful night, Omari, after having a few drinks, approached Nyamia and proposed to spend the night with her.
The two, it is alleged, booked the lodging at around 10pm.

Omari apparently left their room after about five minutes only to turn up an hour later.
The court heard that upon returning to the room, he demanded for more time with Nyamia, who apparently declined, saying he was not “good enough.”
It is then that an angry Omar allegedly beat up Nyamia. Her screams reportedly attracted the hotel’s management attention who rescued her.
Omari was later arrested by police and charged with assault.
He was set free on a Sh10,000 cash bail. His trial begins on January 19.
