Four members of the county assembly have asked Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga to immediately and unreservedly apologise to National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Joyce Laboso for splashing water on her.
Kipsonoi Ward Rep John Ngetich said Ms Wanga's stunt was disrespectful of the deputy speaker adding that she owes not just Laboso, but also Sotik residents an apology.
"Besides being the National Assembly Deputy Speaker, honourable Laboso represents residents of Sotik in the House and they too deserve an apology from Wanga," he said.
Rongena/Mannaret Ward Rep John Malel said Ms Laboso has been fair and impartial in discharging her duties.
"The deputy speaker has never had any quarrel with anyone in the House and she has been discharging her duties with humility and wisdom. That is why we find Wanga's actions to be appalling," he said.
