A team of education officers has concluded its investigations into claims that parents at Murang’a High School had been asked for Sh40,000 towards a harambee.
The team spent the entire weekend gathering information at the school and interrogating aggrieved parents.
County Director of Education Victoria Mulili said the team was analysing its report before making it public.
“I can assure you the public will be notified of the outcome,” said Mulili.
However, Murang’a North Knut Executive Secretary Rosaline Kamina defended the principal, saying she was being demonised for implementing parents’ resolutions.
