MACHAKOS, KENYA: The High Court sitting in Machakos has restrained Kitui South MP Isaac Muoki from accessing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) monies.
Machakos High Court Judge George Dullu also directed the National Bank of Kenya’s Mutomo branch manager to stay any dealings by the MP and three other respondents.
The application seeking the orders was filled by Kelvin Mumo Sammy through lawyer Silvester Metto. The court barred the four respondents and the CDF board from undertaking duties as officers of the CDF Committee pending the taking of the accounts and hearing and determination of the application.
