Students of Multimedia University of Kenya blocked Magadi Road in Rongai, Kajiado County on Monday morning, protesting last week's incident where a fellow student was hit by a bus.
The vehicle that hit the student was impounded by police but the driver is still at large.
A hunt for the driver is on.
This is not the first time the Multimedia students have protested over accidents involving their comrades.
In 2016, transport on Magadi and Lang'ata roads were paralysed as the students blocked the roads protesting the death of a colleague in an accident.
