Manchester United won the first International Champions Cup game of their 2018 pre-season tour after beating AC Milan 9-8 in penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw in Carson, California.

Alexis Sanchez gave Jose Mourinho’s side the lead in the 11th minute before Suso equalized three minutes later from a Leonardo Bonucci long pass.

The Red Devils are set to play Premier League rivals Liverpool in their second International Champions Cup match on Sunday 29.
