Gor Mahia’s Nondi lands Georgia deal
Gor Mahia’s young midfielder Amos Nondi and John Macharia of Kariobangi Sharks have completed moves to Georgia’s Kolkheti Poti after their International Transfer Certificates (ITC) were issued on Friday.
Kolkheti approached the two clubs for the players to develop them for the future. A three-year deal was sealed and Kolkheti will take care of all their personal requirements while in Georgia as they plot future move.
The Georgian club which signed Gor Mahia defender Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma earlier in the year, has an aim of selling them and do a percentage share with Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks.
As confirmed by Gor Mahia Chief Executive Officer Omondi Aduda, Gor will get 20 per cent of any amount from future business and the same will apply to Kariobangi Sharks.

“After they approached us, we did consultations and agreed to their request of having Nondi for their development plan. Kolkheti will take care of his personal requirements and Gor Mahia will get 20 percent of any amount they get in any business done in future,” said Aduda.
Aduda added: “Such moves to develop players are part of the club’s programs and we will do more of that.”
